摘要: Abstract In the last decades, light materials, such as magnesium, are increasing their use in a wide range of industrial applications. The growing magnesium encourages study its under different production processes. this sense, present shows an experimental investigation intermittent turning UNS M11917 alloy, analysing machining conditions: cutting speed, depth cut and feed rate, along with dry minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) system. To evaluate process, continuous bars slotted were used. process is evaluated taking response variable surface roughness. Full factorial designs used results analysed using Analysis Variance (ANOVA). Main statistical analysis include identification rate main significant factor for all tests, explaining most part variability analysed. By contrast, speed type interruption not found to be sources when isolation. Moreover, more dispersion roughness values, terms Ra , was identified at low rates which can difficult prediction. addition, cut, interaction also . Finally, influence environment studied, finding that MQL system lead slightly worse ( ) higher tested.
