摘要: The idea of round-beam collision was proposed more than twenty years ago for the Novosibirsk Phi-factory design [V.V. Danilov et al. , in Proc EPAC 1996, Sitges, vol. 2, p. 1149]. It requires equal emittances, small fractional tunes, beta functions at IP, no betatron coupling collider arcs. Such an approach results conservation longitudinal component angular momentum. As a consequence, it yields enhancement dynamical stability, even with nonlinear effects from beam-beam force taken into account. Round Beam Concept (RBC) realized electron-positron VEPP-2000 and successfully tested energy 510 MeV [D.E. Berkaev Proc. 2008, Genoa, 956]. Despite low energy, high single-bunch luminosity 10 31 cm − 2 s 1 achieved together maximum tune shift as 0.1. At present work is progress to increase explore range between 500 GeV collision.
