摘要: We report the discovery of NGTS-11 b (=TOI-1847 b), a transiting Saturn in 35.46-day orbit around mid K-type star (Teff=5050 K). initially identified system from single-transit event TESS full-frame image light-curve. Following seventy-nine nights photometric monitoring with an NGTS telescope, we observed second full transit approximately one year after event. The confirmed parameters signal and restricted orbital period to set 13 discrete periods. combined our detections precise radial velocity measurements determine true measure mass planet. find has radius 0.817+0.028-0.032 RJ, 0.344+0.092-0.073 MJ, equilibrium temperature just 435+34-32 K, making it coolest known gas giants. is first exoplanet be discovered being as event, its highlights power intense recovering longer-period exoplanets events.
