摘要: This project was designed to evaluate the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy General Scale (FACT-G) for use in older patient with cancer. Subjects were administered MOS Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) and FACT-G scale. Subscale total scores compared using Pearson product correlation test. subscores mixed aged cancer normative group Cella et al. (1993). Good correlations found between SF-36 all areas except vitality. The mean score 82.2 +/- 16.2 SD patients cancer, 92.3 11.8 community-dwelling elderly (CDE). able discriminate that received care CDE (p < 0.002). who scored higher on have Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Performance Status (PS). a PS 0 had 87.9 14.4 SD. 3 59.0 23.2 is valid reliable instrument not an age-biased instrument.
