摘要: Abstract Several health benefits are associated with adequate intake of dietary fibre; however, the constitution fibre fraction is different for each vegetable, which influences their physico-chemical properties and, consequently, physiological effects on human organism. The present study evaluated effect sources from by-products fruit processing biological responses in rats. Male Wistar rats (21 days old) were fed 40 diets supplemented apple pomace, orange bagasse and passion peel, place cellulose control treatment. consumption containing fibres significantly reduced levels serum triglycerides hepatic cholesterol contributed to postprandial glycaemia, particularly treatment (OB). animals OB peel (PFP) showed lower fasting blood glucose compared animals. test promoted changes parameters important intestinal health, such as faecal pH increased moisture. Dietary possess intrinsic mechanisms that synergistically contribute nutritional potential, making them promising nutrition.
