摘要: Human infection with Puumala virus (PUUV), the most common hantavirus in Central Europe, causes nephropathia epidemica (NE), a disease characterized by acute kidney injury and thrombocytopenia. To determine clinical phenotype of hantavirus-infected patients their long-term outcome humoral immunity to PUUV, we conducted cross-sectional prospective survey 456 Germany clinically serologically confirmed hantavirus-associated NE during 2001–2012. Prominent findings were fever back/limb pain, 88% had injury. At follow-up (7–35 mo), all detectable hantavirus-specific IgG; 8.5% persistent IgM; 25% hematuria; 23% hypertension (new diagnosis for 67%); 7% proteinuria. NE-associated proteinuria do not appear have consequences, but hematuria may. All this study IgG up years after infection.
