摘要: Abstract This paper proposes to use a hybrid Stochastic Fractal Search (SFS) and Local Unimodal Sampling (LUS) based multistage Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller consisting of with derivative Filter (PDF) plus (1 + Proportional Integral) for Automatic Generation Control (AGC) power systems. Initially, single area multi-source system thermal hydro gas plants is considered parameters (I) optimized by algorithm. The superiority SFS algorithm over some recently proposed approaches such as optimal control, Differential Evolution (DE) Teaching Learning Based Optimization (TLBO) demonstrated. To improve the performance further, LUS subsequently employed. study further extended different controllers like PID, PID conventional structure two-area six unit interconnected approach over, TLBO control Finally three unequal appropriate nonlinearities Rate Constraint (GRC), Governor Dead Band (GDB) time delay. From analysis, it found that SFS–LUS superior original substantial improvement in are realized structure.
