摘要: In the past decade several reports have appeared which suggest that peroxisomes play a central role in isoprenoid/cholesterol biosynthesis. These suggestions were based primarily on reported finding of enzymes presqualene segment biosynthetic pathway peroxisomes. More recently, however, conflicting results been raising doubt about postulated isoprenoid biosynthesis, at least humans. this study we studied subcellular localisation human mevalonate kinase (MK) using variety biochemical and microscopical techniques. include conventional fractionation studies, digitonin permeabilisation immunofluorescence microscopy immunocytochemistry.
