摘要: Abstract Purpose To compare the individual influence of different types socket designs on hip's range motion in transfemoral amputees. Patients and methods We studied kinematic parameters hip joint for patients with amputation under four experimental conditions: without a socket, quadrilateral an ischial containment ischial-ramal socket. An opto-electronic system was used to record movements frontal sagittal planes 3D movement analysis. Results The is always significantly restricted sockets, regardless their type, compared situation ( P = 0.002) (127.3°, = 0.01). No comparable study exists literature, especially Conclusion seems be most interesting type terms criterion studied. It still remains identify possible functional improvements that this design would provoke during gait daily activities.
