摘要: Abstract More than 10 million people are suffering from hepatitis C virus (HCV) in Pakistan. The available treatment option is a combination of interferon and ribavirin. Treatment response linked with several factors also induces number side effects. We searched Pubmed, Pak Medi Net Google Scholar for the articles presenting effect plus ribavirin therapy on HCV patients Pakistan, their effects future prospects. major prevalent genotype Pakistan 3. Conventional alpha showed sustained virological 54%–64% while pegylated 58%–75%. IL–28B CC better response. Studies 3 infections no correlation between sensitivity determining region mutations.
