摘要: The degree of cube-on-edge texture attainable by processing coils hot rolled directly from strand cast slabs tends to be highly variable. Incomplete secondary recrystallization in the product results excessive grain size reheated slabs. These large grains fail recrystallize during subsequent rolling and annealing operations. Prerolling slab about 25 pct produces a smaller after reheating prior with result uniform improved product. changes which take place without prerolling are described analyzed.
