摘要: A sample of 77 institutionalized children diagnosed as mentally retarded without other neurological signs or symptoms (familial-cultural retardates) was examined anthropometrically well for I.Q., birth weight, parental age, order, age at admission, and length time spent in the institution. Compared to a control population Philadelphia children, our smaller every measurement but one. Birth order were not remarkable. Correlations several these variables showed that low weight less intelligent; I.Q. related size; larger brighter admitted later age; institutionalization size I.Q.; older proportionately intelligent smaller.
