摘要: Directed Diffusion (DD) uses data aggregation to suppress overhead however there is no guarantee that paths from nearby sources join after a few hops. In this paper, an efficient data-gathering protocol (EDAP) proposed address problem by using Virtual Sink (VS) node the sources, which plays role of sink and broadcasts local interest messages routes gathered toward destination. Also, multiple are constructed between VS node, leads load-balancing, increase in lifetime network. Simulation results show EDAP significant amount energy can be saved network will increased considerably.
