摘要: This chapter examines the spatiotemporal properties of visual attention and changes which occur with aging. In recent years “spotlight” metaphor has provided a useful though oftentimes controversial framework for studies attention. this chapter, we will critically examine spotlight by reviewing various tasks (Eriksen's distractor task, LaBerge's attentional range Treisman's search Posner's orienting task) designed to assess dynamics We review literature on aging attention, focussing these tasks.
