摘要: The presence of a thermal gradient in the home cage and its use orientation was studied kittens from shortly after birth to 2 weeks. Responses on outside were also studied. With region freshly washed floor either cooled or warmer, placed adjacent corner home. In one study chose between warmed diagonal region. On exhibited thermotaxic turning thermokinetic response. Kittens initially used olfactory cues reach but began only towards end 1st week. Similarly, warmth caused "settling" during week thereafter most effective. more often than responding over cues.
