摘要: In the past decades, main forebrain commissure, corpus callosum, has received considerable attention from scientists with varied research interests. Much effort been devoted to understanding nature of information shared between hemispheres via callosal pathway. addition, its intrinsic organization and accessibility experimental manipulations have made this commissural pathway a specially suitable system for investigating development highly organized patterns cortico-cortical connections. This book focuses on analysis agenesis or malformation callosum clinicopathological viewpoints as way increasing our knowledge about functional deficits developmental factors associated these anomalies, compensatory mechanisms that can become apparent in acallosal subjects.
