摘要: Durations of monthly precipitation wet and dry spells are calculated using historical records regional climate model (RCM) simulations for the Wadi Al-Lith basin in western Saudi Arabia. The characteristics durations based on 50% risk level corresponding to average precipitation. duration data is compared with observations base period 1971–2000. impact change obtained three global models projections RCP4.5 RCP8.5 scenarios downscaled by RCM. probability distribution functions (PDFs) prove that has a clear over study area. There an increase frequency far future (2070–2099) near (2020–2049). can be partly explained extreme rainfall events decrease expected occur area towards end 21st century.
