摘要: This paper contributes to the understanding on reasons that lead entrepreneurship in other countries. We focus expat-preneurs, those who decided undertake business opportunities countries (before or after settling there). Using comparison analysis and logistic regression, we examine pre-departure transitioned expat-preneurs' demographic characteristics push-pull factors them expatriate. From a survey conducted 2015-2016 of 5,532 Lithuanians expatriated 24 countries, sample 308 respondents with their own businesses abroad was selected. research literature empirical evidence self-initiated (SI) expat-preneurs. The results revealed features matter when studying such global entrepreneurs. It is process experienced differently by males females and, as such, it can be considered gender selective.
