摘要: Polyamide fibres are known to be sensitive water, and this has limited their marine applications. However, low stiffness high strength could attractive for shallow water mooring line ropes, particularly floating wind turbines. Such applications require the influence of on mechanical behaviour fully understood, paper presents results describing how affects static creep response polyamide 6 fibre yarns. First, effect Tg is quantified, then tensile examined. Finally, a model based Schapery’s non-linear analysis identified different humidity conditions. The show that while moisture small short-term behaviour, long term strongly affected must considered in any application.
