摘要: Transfer of energy occurs endlessly in our universe by means radiation. Compared to transfer (ET) free space, solid state materials the a rather confined manner, which is usually mediated real or virtual particles, including not only photons, but also electrons, phonons, and excitons. In present review, we discuss recent advances optical ET resonance with photons as well their nanoscale counterparts, focus on photoluminescence behavior pertaining between optically active centers, such rare earth (RE) ions. This review begins brief discussion classification together an overview theoretical formulations experimental method for examination ET. We will then comprehensive practical systems normal photoluminescence, upconversion quantum cutting resulted from involving metal ions, QDs, organic species, 2D plasmonic nanostructures. Diverse are therefore simply categorized into cases ion–ion interactions non-ion interactions. Special attention has been paid progress manipulation spatially nanostructured core–shell structures, multiple exciton generation found QDs molecules, behave quite similarly ion centers. Afterwards, broad spectrum applications aforementioned systems, lighting, solar utilization, bio-imaging diagnosis, sensing. closing part, along short summary, further research regarding problems possible future directions solids.
