摘要: To make the best use of a limited number irradiated strength-test specimens, it is desirable to derive microstructure information related mechanical properties from mechanically tested specimens. A focused ion beam micro-sampling system was utilized thin film samples for transmission electron microscope (TEM) observations crack or fracture surface strength-tested The specimens reduced-activation ferritic/martensitic steel, F82H, investigated focusing on irradiation effects fatigue fracture. On unirradiated SEM revealed that initiated along prior austenite grain boundary. TEM micrograph around showed presence polygonization and formation distinctive shaped subgrains boundary ahead crack. an intergranular crack, indicated main developed in same manner as F82H.
