The RUNESTONE project is developing and evaluating the notion of incorporating group projects into undergraduate computer science curriculum. adds new dimensions to student teamwork, requiring students handle that remote, cross-cultural linguistically challenging. three year project, with prototype version running Winter 1998 at Uppsala University, Sweden, Grand Valley State Michigan, USA. pilot study followed by full-scale implementation 1999 another 2000.
