摘要: Transplantation of pancreatic islet cells could provide a cure for diabetes. However, it has been difficult to obtain sufficient numbers purified islets from single cadaver pancreas. Stem cell technology may someday overcome this limitation, and also make possible the use autologous tissues ( 278–282 ).
