摘要: Enhanced force transmission to mechanophores is demonstrated in polymer nanocomposite materials. Spiropyran (SP) that change color and fluorescence under mechanical stimuli are functionalized at the interface between SiO2 nanoparticles polymers. Successful activation of SP confirmed both solution solid states. Compared with SP-linked bulk polymers, interfacial induces greater conversion its colored merocyanine form also significantly decreases threshold tension. Experimental observations supported by finite element simulation stress state. The force-focusing strategy opens a new way control reactivity potentially indicates damage composite
