摘要: This paper reports on the case of a Western female patient with square jaw and low mandibular angle deformity who sought treatment for aesthetic facial enhancement. While face-narrowing surgical procedures are especially popular among Asian women, there seems to be general, cross-cultural agreement that beautiful face should oval slender. Under general anesthesia, intra-oral incisions were performed bilaterally approach angles. After periosteal elevation, bilateral corticectomies rami “V” ostectomies base executed. Postoperative recovery was uneventful. Six months after surgery, patient’s not only rounder gentler in frontal view, but also showed an evident increase gonial angles profile three-quarter views.
