摘要: Objectives The aim of the present study was to evaluate ability optical coherence tomography (OCT) for assessment culprit lesion morphology in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) comparison with intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and coronary angioscopy (CAS). Background Optical is a new imaging method high resolution approximately 10 μm. This may allow us assess vulnerable plaques detail vivo. Methods We enrolled 30 patients AMI, analyzed by OCT, CAS, IVUS. Results average duration from onset symptom OCT 3.8 ± 1.0 h. incidence plaque rupture observed 73%, it significantly higher than that CAS (47%, p = 0.035) IVUS (40%, 0.009). Furthermore, (23%) superior (3%, 0.022) (0%, 0.005) detection fibrous cap erosion. intracoronary thrombus all cases but identified 33% (vs. Conclusions feasible modality AMI allows identify not only rupture, also erosion, thrombus, TCFA vivo more frequently compared conventional techniques.
