摘要: The neuroimaging results of drug-resistant epilepsy patients play an important role in the surgery decision and prognosis. aim this study was to evaluate impact these on efficacy epilepay surgery, then explore surgical benefit for with negative magnetic resonance (MR) images. Twenty-four subgroups describing outcomes 1475 positive-neuroimaging 696 negative-neuroimaging were involved meta-analysis. Overall, odds postoperational seizure-free rate 2.03 times higher imaging-positive (MRI-positive) than MRI-negative [odds ratio (OR)=2.03, 95% CI (1.67, 2.47), P<0.00001]. For temporal lobe (TLE), 1.76 those MRI-positive [OR=1.76, (1.34, 2.32), P<0.0001]. extra-temporal (extra-TLE), 2.88 [OR=2.88, (1.53, 5.43), P=0.001]. It concluded that after patients. results, appropriate should be concerned TLE.
