摘要: Stream velocity and flow are very important parameters that must be measured accurately to develop effective water resource management plans. There various methods tools measure the but, nowadays, image-based a promising alternative does not require physical contact with body. The current study describes application of low cost unmanned aerial vehicle was selected in order capture video over specific reach Aggitis River Greece. captured frames were analyzed by three different software (PIVlab, PTVlab, KU-STIV) estimate surface velocity. These also represent methodologies. Although there differences among these methods, analysis produced similar trends for all. ranged between 0.02 3.98 m/s PIVlab, 0.12 3.44 0.04 3.99 KU-STIV software. parts, especially existing vegetation, where observed. Further applications will examined same or reaches, affecting analysis. Finally, coupled verification measurements meter produce more rigorous results.
