摘要: Abstract Composites based on ethylene–propylene–diene rubber (EPDM) were prepared. EPDM was reinforced with 100 phr Sm 2 O 3 treated coupling agents: stearic acid (SA), isopropyl tri(dioctylphosphate) titanate (NDZ102), bis-[-3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]tetrasulfide (KH845-4), and N-β-(aminoethyl)-γ-aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane (SG-Si602), respectively. Cure, mechanical electrical properties of the composites investigated. It found that carboxyl in agents could retard cure while amino groups, P bonds S atoms accelerate cure. Amino groups enhanced composite by forming additional rigid C–C linkages, whilst boosted generating flexible S–C linkages. might be subject to cleavage during vulcanization form P–C linkage. Thus, NDZ102 KH845-4 filler exhibited better than SG-Si602 filler. In addition, treatment reduce due interfacial improvement.
