摘要: Ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM) having 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene (ENB) as a diene unit was pyrolyzed and the pyrolysis products were analyzed using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) to develop method for identification quantitation of ENB. Pyrolysis formed from ENB units determined by comparing EPDMs with different contents. Principal generated benzene, toluene 4-ethylidene-1-cyclopentene. Relative peak intensities benzene increased temperature increased, whereas that 4-ethylidene-1-cyclopentene decreased. The differences in intensity ratios ENB-derived products/propylene between EPDM EPM (ENB content = 0 wt%) linearly increased. can be linear relationship difference content.
