New Policy Framework for Rural Drinking Water Supply – The Swajaldhara Guidelines

摘要: This article discusses the central government policy for drinking water supply in rural areas. It examines its evolution from 1970s onwards and focuses, in particular, on reforms of past decade, looking more specifically at Swajaldhara Guidelines. These reforms are capital importance because they seek to completely change supply policy framework.
