摘要: Understanding and predicting the transport of matter radiation in solar wind terrestrial magnetosphere is one most challenging tasks facing space plasma scientists today. Space plasmas are hot (T > 105 K) poor-collisional (mean free path ∼ 1 AU), contain ample kinetic energy particles. Kinetic effects prevail leading to wave fluctuations, which transfer small scales: wave-particle interactions replace Coulomb collisions enhance dispersive heating particles producing suprathermal (non-Maxwellian) populations.
