Bioevaluation of zinc fortified coated apricots using rabbit experimental model

摘要: Edible coatings have largely been stemmed out as prospective preservation stratagem to extend shelf life of fruits; additionally these may serve impart certain textural, nutritional and functional attributes. Recent era has witnessed the use novel a tool fortify various foods. Purposely, current research was an endeavor fresh apricots with zinc (40 ppm ZnO) using sodium caseinate based edible address defi- ciency. Accordingly, fortified coated were prepared fed experimental rabbits for period six weeks. The sera organs (liver, kidney & heart) levels de- picted significant increase in content rabbits. From findings, it ascertained that 27.33, 22.47 16.25% liver, heart, respectively enhanced group (G1) compared control (G0). Likewise, serum level G1 elevated up 13.70%. Conclusively, is summarized coating promising strategy for- tify food stuffs extended efficient delivery fortificant living subjects.
