摘要: Transcription factors (TFs) play an important role in gene regulation. Computational identification and annotation of TFs at genome scale are the first step toward understanding mechanism expression We started to construct database Arabidopsis 2005 developed a pipeline for systematic plant from genomic transcript sequences. In following years, we built (PlantTFDB, http://planttfdb.cbi.pku.edu.cn ) which contains putative identified 22 species including five model organisms 17 economically plants with available EST To provide comprehensive information TFs, made extensive both family levels. A brief introduction key references were presented each family. Functional domain cross-references various well-known public databases TF. addition, predicted orthologs other species. PlantTFDB has simple interface allow users make text queries, or BLAST searches, download TF sequences local analysis. hope that could user community useful resource studying function evolution transcription factors.
