摘要: The boundary cap (BC) is a transient neural crest-derived group of cells located at the dorsal root entry zone (DREZ) that have been shown to differentiate into sensory neurons and glia in vivo. We find when placed culture, BC self-renew, show multipotency clonal cultures express crest stem cell (NCSCs) markers. Unlike sciatic nerve NCSCs, BC-NCSC (bNCSCs) generates upon differentiation. bNCSCs constitute common source for functionally diverse types neurons, as single bNCSC can give rise several nociceptive thermoreceptive neurons. Our data suggests comprise multipotent specified persist throughout embryogenesis.
