摘要: Abstract In order to assess the volcanic architecture of VSC in Iberian Pyrite Belt, Spain, a study and sedimentary lithofacies has been undertaken on section up 1000 m thick Odiel river, considered be also representative other areas Riotinto–Nerva Unit. Among mineral deposits, this unit includes world-class volcanic-hosted massive sulfide deposits Riotinto mining district. Several conclusions have obtained: a) complex, succession, as well mafic felsic sills thin intervals, predated genesis which did not form dominantly environment; b) two successive, sequences can distinguished, showing textural chemical variations from bottom top; c) decrease upwards sequence, d) structures, eruption style internal organization suggest deep subaqueous depositional environment, agrees with setting for deposits.
