摘要: Approximately 90 Km2 of Chesapeake Bay contiguous with the Severn, South, Rhode and West Rivers were surveyed by in vivo chlorophyll fluorescence captured samples following a large pulse rainfall summer, 1971. The growth subsequent dissipation blooms containing concentrations up to 40 x pre-bloom values completed within 21 days. A distinction is made between produced nutrient pulses dinoflagellate normally observed fall. In former, there complete change phytoplankton relative species composition. latter phototactic segregation already existing water column. methodology presented mathematical description attempted.
