摘要: The phytoplankton community in Lake Khurpatal (Kumaun Himalya), India, was analyzed relation to physico-chemical variables. Phytoplankton biomass ranged from 2.7 20.0 g m−3 the euphotic zone of lake. Dinoflagellates monopolized algal with a mean annual contribution 94.5 % total biomass. coefficient used quantify seasonal changes population reflected fact that successional episodes were not very significant, percentage similarity among consecutive samples ranging 47.8 89.9 %. characterized by low species richness, equitability and diversity. Various ecological characteristics are discussed is also compared some tropical temperate lakes.
