Revisiting the greening of prime-time television soap operas

摘要: In 1990, Christopher Rissel and William Douglas commenced a study of the depiction environmental issues behaviours on Australian prime-time television drama series. Their findings were discussed in an issue Media International Australia 1993. This article reports 2011-12 that replicated key aspects Douglas's research. A collaborative research team focused two long-running high-rating soap operas - Neighbours Home Away recorded from June to August 2011. Using content analysis, researchers investigated frequency, attitudes role models for representation behaviours. discusses terms contemporary practices industry, as well study's methodology.
