摘要: The paper examines the increasingly pervasive genomization of food, understood as redefinition food consumption according to needs for therapy, disease prevention, and enhanced wellness determined by characteristics an individual’s genetic heritage. From this perspective, is not only medicalized (reconceptualized in relation its connections with health diseases), pharmacologized (monitored physiological effects on organism), but also genomized (consumed basis correlations individual genome). medicine care prevention thus finds a further field which it can overlap human enhancement, even one most ordinary fundamental fields everyday life. Although process still ongoing, appears advisable focus potential limitations, view targeting control public authorities welfare systems.
