摘要: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an aggressive malignancy with a high incidence of distant metastasis. Recent studies have shown that cancer stem cells (CSCs), which the potential to self-renew and are pluripotent, crucially important in cell growth, invasion, metastasis, recurrence. Recently, several CSC-specific markers for pancreatic been reported, including CD133, CD24, CD44, CXCR4, EpCAM, ABCG2, c-Met, ALDH-1, nestin, but their use controversial. Nestin one class VI intermediate filament proteins marker exocrine progenitors normal tissue. Activated mutations K-ras nestin-positive tissue reported induce growth vitro formation precancerous lesions. We downregulation nestin PDAC inhibits liver metastasis vivo. may modulate invasion progenitor during development serve as novel target suppressing PDAC. In this review, we summarize what known about correlation between CSC markers, nestin.
