摘要: Laser Engineered Net Shaping (LENS™) is a laser-assisted manufacturing process that offers the possibility of producing metallic coatings and components with highly nonequilibrium microstructures. In this work, microstructure developed by LENS deposition Cu 47 Ti 33 Zr 11 Ni 8 Si 1 powder on bulk glass substrate, nominal composition 58.5 Nb 2.8 15.6 12.8 Al 10.3 , investigated. Single-layer results in formation an inhomogeneous but partially amorphous layer above crystalline heat-affected zone. Elemental analysis deposited indicates incomplete mixing melt pool. The as-deposited alloy exhibits single transition event its primary crystallization consistent first temperature Cu-based powder. Subsequent remelting still deposit uniform (Zr + Nb) 51.8 24.7 3.4 16.4 3.7 . remelted structural rearrangement immediately prior to event, possibly associated quasicrystalline phase.
