摘要: We consider continuous phase modulations (CPMs) in iteratively decoded serially concatenated schemes. Although the overall receiver complexity mainly depends on that of CPM detector, almost all papers literature optimal maximum a posteriori (MAP) symbol detection algorithm and only few attempts have been made to design low-complexity suboptimal This problem is faced this paper by first considering case an ideal coherent detection, then extending it more interesting transmission over typical satellite channel affected noise. In both cases, we adopt simplified representation M-ary signal based principal pulses its Laurent decomposition. Since not possible derive exact rule means probabilistic reasoning, framework factor graphs (FGs) sum-product (SPA) used. channels noise, random variables representing samples are explicitly introduced FG. By pursuing approach manage FG, i.e., canonical distribution approach, two algorithms derived which do require presence known (pilot) symbols, thanks intrinsic differential encoder embedded modulator.
