Electrical behaviour of zirconium doped calcium copper titanium oxide

摘要: In this investigation, the effect of Zr substitution at Ti site CaCu3Ti4O12 on electrical properties has been studied. Samples with composition x = 0.00, 0.10 and 0.30 have synthesized by solid state ceramic route in system CaCu3Ti4−xZrxO12. Powder x-ray diffraction data showed formation a single phase solution. The structure remains cubic similar to an undoped sample. Seebeck coefficient, α, is measured thick pellet temperature range 500–800 K found be negative range, indicating n-type conduction measurement. Dc resistivity, ρdc, ac conductivity, σac, were understand mechanism conduction. Immittance analysis used separate contributions grains grain boundaries total observed resistance. From frequency dependence it concluded that around room occurs due thermally activated rotation dipoles while high excitation charge carriers band edge hopping energies close it. immittance activation for are almost equal same
