摘要: Since the original description of bacterium by Warren and Marshall in 1983, Helicobacter pylori is now causally linked to a variety pathological conditions human stomach, such as chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, gastric adenocarcinoma and, most recently, mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma1–6. The discovery H. pylori, its emerging importance has generated an enormous interest dissecting pathogenesis epidemiology infection7,8. Early studies failed establish animal models surprisingly, Koch’s postulates were initially fulfilled two volunteers9–11. These individuals suffered bouts acute symptomatology few days after oral challenge with one them persistent gastritis was established10,11.
