摘要: This study explored what terminology constitutes an erotic or arousing language for male and female, heterosexual homosexual, the extent to which that is used with a sexual partner. Five references were included: genitalia, female lovemaking/coitus, oral—genital contact, hand—genital contact. Respondents consisted of 120 urban midwestern university students, 30 in each gender orientation category. Sexual was as powerful predictor considered erotic. Lesbians gay males more often than females vocabulary spouse lover. Gay slang lover did females. Implications arousal based upon communication are discussed.
