摘要: Abstract Previous investigators have demonstrated a wide divergence in number of linguistic units and patterns non‐verbal communication between men women. The purpose this investigation was to examine the vocabulary usage women when discussing sexual concepts variety interpersonal contexts. Two hundred two subjects at Midwestern university anonymously reported their preference terminology for male female genitalia act copulation these terms with same sex friends, mixed company, parents, lovers. results demonstrate that context speaker often determine both specific word(s) used amount response variation.
