摘要: Abstract Objectives. This study sought to assess the endothelial function of long-term coronary artery lesions in patients with Kawasaki disease (KD). Background. The vascular arteries children KD remains uncertain. We report our findings response intracoronary injection acetylcholine (ACh) KD. Methods. A total 35 (25 and 10 control subjects) were examined using angiography. Individual divided into four groups according type lesion: group 1 consisted 25 sites regressed aneurysms. These aneurysms had developed acute stage but subsequently demonstrated normal on follow-up angiogram. Group 2 24 persistent 3 involved 60 angiographically same as those or 2. 4 30 subjects who congenital heart arteries. During angiography we infused 15 μg ACh chloride artery. lumen diameters measured a cine videodensitometric analyzer distensibility wall. Results. mean (±SD) change diameter was an increase 11.71 ± 12.34% (coronary without KD) 12.21 9.71% group, demonstrating marked vasodilation both groups. In contrast, changes −2.65 12.12% −0.08 6.51%, respectively, no mild vasoconstriction. significantly less than that group. showed significant difference from Conclusions. suggest lesions, even after aneurysm regression, may have impaired function. for is essential.
