摘要: Summary Reasons for performing study: To date, few reports exist comparing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) of the equine distal limb, yet clinicians are required to decide which modality use regularly. Objectives: report compare anatomic visualisation scores obtained CT, contrast enhanced CT (CECT) standing low-field MRI (LFMRI) in foot. Hypothesis: Anatomic score discrepancies would between CECT LFMRI. Methods: Images 22 lame horses (31 limbs) undergoing both LFMRI foot were reviewed. When available, images The deep digital flexor tendon (DDFT) was categorised into proximal levels (A–D), structures assigned (Grades 0–3) technique comparisons made using paired marginal homogeneity test. Results: Computed had similar visibility navicular bone, middle phalanx, DDFT-B, collateral ligaments interphalangeal joint sesamoidean ligament bone. phalanx lower with LFMRI. DDFT (C–D), impar synovial higher Contrast lowered raised synovium scores. Conclusions potential relevance: Visualisation differ depending on structure interest. This information increases our understanding limitations visualise anatomy clinical cases.
