摘要: Recently, it has been reported that the incidence of male genitourinary abnormalities (such as cryptorchidism) increasing because presence endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in environment. This report reviews papers related to cryptorchidism beginning 1960s clarify trends and discuss association between risk factors, including EDCs.The tended increase almost researched countries until mid-1980s, but shown regional differences since 1990. In Japan, trend is unclear there no monitoring system for cryptorchidism. It necessary establish both criteria a research cryptorchidism. The factors epidemiological studies include low birth weight, being small gestational age, short gestation period, high maternal body change during pregnancy hormones (by exposure diethylstilbestrol DES or estrogen), chemicals. However, associations children with EDCs well estrogen fetus are not clear very few reports have quantatively evaluated EDCs. It known some act receptor agonists hormonal mobility exogenous estrogen. also suggested drugs such affect endocrine associated future, daidzein genistein quantative evaluation using biological materials necessary.
